Founded in 1923, Home Acres Building Supply has grown through geographic expansion and strategic acquisition to become one of the most respected suppliers to the building trades. Home Acres expanded throughout Michigan beginning in the late 1980’s and into Indiana and Wisconsin beginning in the late 1990’s. The foundation of our growth has been our values, anchored by an un-compromising commitment to integrity. These values have ensured successful partnerships with customers and suppliers and enabled Home Acres to build a workforce that is the best in the industry.

Fleet:
We have invested in an extensive fleet of over 100 vehicles ready to serve you and your most demanding job site conditions. This includes boom trucks with capacities of up to 8 stories and all wheel drive Skytraks and Moffetts specially equipped to handle drywall. Our fleet also includes flat beds, box trucks, pickups, semi tractors and trailers – everything we need to service everything you need.

Facilities and Inventory:
Home Acres Building Supply currently has 20 locations serving Michigan, Wisconsin, Indiana and surrounding states. We build and equip all of our facilities with the customer in mind. Each branch has a showroom with many acoustical and specialty product displays along with the basic essentials that contractors need in a pinch. Our dedicated internal transfer system helps us have the product you need at the branch location you need it. This transfer system, along with approximately one million square feet of warehouse space, enables us to inventory and supply the right product at the right location for you.

Technology:
We have invested in cutting-edge technologies to provide you with the best possible service. We can provide you with real-time inventory information for your local Home Acres Building Supply location or any of our other warehouses to ensure that the products that you need are available to you. Our GPS-enabled delivery fleet allows us to provide you with a real-time status for your delivery. After the sale, we can provide invoices by e-mail, fax or mail – we can even e-mail the proof of delivery document with your invoice to help streamline your accounts payable process. All of our systems are geared toward giving our customers timely and hassle-free service.
